India’s Two Wheeler retail sales October 2025 reached an all-time high of 31,49,846 units, powered by strong festive demand and new GST benefits.
This marks a 51.7% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 20.75 lakh units in October 2024 — the best month for the segment in years.
Hero, Honda, and TVS Dominate the Market
Hero MotoCorp led the Two Wheeler market with 9,94,787 units, achieving a massive 72% YoY growth and holding a 31.58% market share.
Honda followed with 8,21,976 units, marking a 47.8% YoY rise, while TVS Motor reported 5,58,075 units, a 57.8% YoY jump.
Together, these three giants accounted for nearly 70% of total Two Wheeler sales in October 2025.

Bajaj, Royal Enfield, and Suzuki Post Strong Gains
Bajaj Auto recorded 3,23,713 units, up 40.1% YoY, though its market share slightly dipped to 10.28%.
Royal Enfield sold 1,44,615 units, growing 47.3% YoY, while Suzuki Motorcycle reached 1,35,715 units, showing 26.7% growth led by Access 125 and Burgman Street.
Electric Two Wheeler Sales: Ather Rises, Ola Falls
In the EV segment, Ather Energy reported strong growth, selling 28,101 units, up 72.9% YoY.
Meanwhile, Ola Electric saw sales fall 61.7%, dropping to 16,036 units from 41,843 units in October 2024.
Greaves (Ampere) also performed well, doubling sales to 7,629 units, marking a 91% YoY rise.
Overall Growth & Market Dynamics
India’s Two Wheeler market surged 51.76% YoY and a whopping 144.6% MoM over September 2025.
This growth was driven by rural demand recovery, easier financing, and the festive buying wave.
Cumulatively, the industry’s YTD figures reached 1.19 crore units, up 12.6% YoY, signaling strong consumer confidence ahead of 2026.
