Meet the New Zenos E10 RZ: A Lightweight Sports Car for the Modern Age

The British sports car world has a new name to get excited about. Zenos, a company that was recently revived, is back with a mission to build lightweight, driver-focused cars. Its new model, the E10 RZ, is a 380-horsepower evolution of its original car. With a price tag of around $188,250 (£140,000), the E10 RZ is a car that is all about raw performance and the pure “seat of the pants” feel that defined classics like the Lotus Elise.

Extreme Performance Through Lightweight Design

The Zenos E10 RZ is all about a high power-to-weight ratio. It is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine that produces 380 hp. But the real magic is in its weight: just 1,742 pounds (790 kg). This gives it a phenomenal power-to-weight ratio of 4.58 pounds per hp. Zenos claims the RZ can sprint from 0-62 mph in just 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of around 150 mph, making it an incredibly fast and agile car.

A Unique Chassis and Minimalist Design

The E10 RZ is built on a unique and advanced chassis that is a key part of its lightweight design. It combines an extruded-aluminum spine chassis with a carbon-fiber tub and full carbon bodywork. The front suspension uses inboard-mounted dampers, while the rear has conventional coil-overs. Inside, the car keeps things minimal with carbon-fiber bucket seats, custom switchgear, and modern instrumentation, ensuring that the focus is entirely on the driver.

A More Accessible Option

For those who want a less extreme version, Zenos will also be launching a new E10 R2 model later in 2026. The R2 will be priced at a more affordable $161,400 (£120,000) and will be powered by a 2.3-liter turbo engine that produces 325 hp. This new variant will offer a more approachable entry into the brand’s lineup while still keeping the same lightweight carbon and aluminum chassis.

Here is a summary of the key specs for both models:
