VinFast Launches Two New Electric SUVs in India
The Vietnamese brand VinFast has officially entered the Indian market with the launch of its VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs. The company has set up a manufacturing plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, to locally assemble the cars. With competitive pricing and promising features, both of these new EVs are ready to compete with other popular electric vehicles in India.

The VinFast VF6: Price and Features
The VinFast VF6 starts at an attractive price of Rs 16.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and is a strong competitor to models like the Tata Curvv EV and Hyundai Creta Electric. It has a 59.6 kWh battery that gives a range of 480 km. The car produces 204 bhp and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.89 seconds.
It comes with some great features, including a 12.9-inch infotainment screen, a heads-up display, a panoramic glass roof, and ventilated front seats. For safety, it has 7 airbags and an advanced Level-2 ADAS suite.

The Larger VinFast VF7: More Power and Space
The VinFast VF7 is a larger SUV with a starting price of Rs 20.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The base model has the same battery as the VF6, but other variants get a bigger 70.8 kWh battery with a range of up to 450 km. The top-end AWD model is a powerhouse, delivering a combined 350 bhp and 500 Nm of torque.
The VF7 is a bigger car, with a length of 4,545 mm and a long wheelbase of 2,840 mm, giving you more space inside. It shares most of its technology and safety features with the VF6, including the panoramic roof and advanced ADAS.
