VinFast Limo Green 7s Electric MPV Spied Testing In India – Carens Clavis EV Rival

VinFast Limo Green 7s electric MPV has been spotted testing on Indian roads for the very first time, signaling an acceleration of the Vietnamese EV maker’s plans for the Indian market.
Automotive enthusiast Sandeep captured the latest spy shots of a fully camouflaged test mule, hinting that India will be a key market for this new 7-seater electric people mover.
First-Ever Sighting in India: Design Details

The heavily camouflaged prototype closely resembles the design of the VinFast Limo Green 7s model recently launched in Vietnam. Despite the wrap, key elements are visible: a tall, upright stance, distinctive vertical taillamps, and a large glasshouse prioritizing cabin space.
The alloy wheel design and tailgate profile also match earlier patent filings, confirming its identity. The silhouette clearly suggests a three-row, 7-seater layout, and a digital instrument cluster was visible through the windshield.

Built for India with Local Production

This electric MPV is expected to be well-suited for Indian road conditions, measuring around 4.74 meters long with a 2,840 mm wheelbase and 170 mm of ground clearance. Under the skin, it is powered by a 60.1 kWh battery pack and a 201 bhp electric motor (producing 280 Nm of torque).
It offers an NEDC-certified range of around 450 km. The VinFast Limo Green 7s will likely be one of the first models assembled at VinFast’s new manufacturing facility in Toothukudi, Tamil Nadu.
A New Rival for Kia Carens Clavis EV

In Vietnam, the VinFast Limo Green 7s is priced at approximately Rs 25 lakh (VND 749 million). If launched competitively in India, it will enter the growing electric MPV segment, competing directly with the Kia Carens Clavis EV and BYD eMAX 7.
The VinFast Limo Green 7s could appeal to both premium family buyers and fleet operators. With local testing underway, an Indian debut is expected next year.
