Toyota Slashes Prices on Glanza, Hyryder & More
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced a major price reduction across its lineup of cars, including the popular Glanza, Rumion, Taisor, and Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The price cuts are a result of the new GST 2.0 norms and are a strong move by the company to pass on the full benefit to its customers. The new prices will take effect from September 22, 2025, just in time for the festive season.
Big Savings on Glanza and Taisor
The Toyota Glanza and Urban Cruiser Taisor will see the biggest price reductions, thanks to a GST cut from 29% to 18%. This will make both models much more affordable, with savings of up to Rs 85,300 on the Glanza and up to Rs 1.11 lakh on the Taisor.

Savings on Rumion and Hyryder
The Toyota Rumion and Urban Cruiser Hyryder will also get a price cut, as their tax rates have been reduced from 45% to 40%. The Rumion will see savings of up to Rs 48,600, while the Hyryder will have a price drop of up to Rs 65,000. The hybrid variant of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder will also see a price reduction of around Rs 42,000, which will make it a more attractive option for eco-conscious buyers.

The new pricing is expected to have a “powerful impact on sales” during the festive season. Dealers are projecting a strong increase in sales volumes, as buyers who were holding off on their purchases will now have a compelling reason to buy a new car.
