Toyota Slashes Car Prices By Up to Rs 3.5 Lakh

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced that it will fully pass on the benefits of the new GST rates to its customers. The new, reduced prices will be effective from September 22, 2025, just in time for the festive season. This move makes several popular Toyota models more accessible, with savings ranging from thousands to several lakhs of rupees.

Price Reductions Across the Lineup

The price drops are significant and cover the entire Toyota product line, from the popular Glanza to the premium Vellfire. The largest savings are on premium SUVs like the Fortuner, which is now cheaper by up to Rs 3.49 lakh. The Innova Crysta and Innova Hycross also see substantial reductions, making them a better value.

Boosting Festive Demand

Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President of TKM, said that this reform will not only make cars more affordable but also boost confidence in the auto sector. By making this announcement just before the festive season, Toyota expects a strong increase in demand. The price cuts are also expected to strengthen Toyota’s position in the competitive Indian passenger vehicle market.
