Tata Sierra Interiors Fully Revealed – Triple Screen Dashboard & Premium Cabin Spied
The upcoming Tata Sierra has once again stirred excitement as fresh spy shots have now fully revealed its interior and dashboard layout. Spotted during testing in Pune, the latest images show the cabin almost completely undisguised, confirming several premium touches — including a triple-screen setup, a first for Tata Motors.
Tata Sierra Triple-Screen Dashboard – A First for Tata
The most striking highlight inside the Tata Sierra Interiors is its futuristic three-screen dashboard. The setup includes: a digital instrument cluster for the driver, a central touchscreen for infotainment, and a third display dedicated to the co-passenger.
This high-tech arrangement is seamlessly integrated under a single glass panel, giving the cabin a minimalist yet premium look. The approach is similar to what we’ve seen in high-end EVs like the Mahindra XEV 9e, adding to the Sierra’s luxury SUV vibe.
Other visible details include touch-based HVAC controls with physical toggles for temperature, a flat-bottom steering wheel featuring an illuminated Tata logo, and a neatly designed centre console with metallic inserts and soft-touch surfaces. Together, these elements elevate the Sierra’s cabin to a level above its rivals in the midsize SUV space.
Exterior Mule Looks Production-Ready
The prototype caught on test was heavily camouflaged, but it appeared close to production spec. Signature elements such as new LED DRLs, split headlamps, connected LED tail lamps and muscular proportions were evident. Despite modern styling cues, the Sierra retains its boxy silhouette, paying homage to the original SUV while embracing Tata’s new-age design DNA.
The test mule was also running on production-spec alloy wheels and carried MH-14 TC plates, confirming ongoing internal validation trials around Tata’s Pune facility.
Engine and Powertrain Options
The new Tata Sierra is expected to arrive with multiple engine choices to appeal to a wide range of buyers. The petrol variant will likely use Tata’s 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor producing around 170 PS and 280 Nm, while the diesel version is expected to borrow the 2.0-litre Kryotec unit from the Harrier and Safari, tuned for 170 PS and 350 Nm.
Transmission choices will include both manual and automatic gearboxes, with the possibility of an AWD system on higher trims. Additionally, an all-electric Sierra EV is also in the works, expected to ride on Tata’s new Gen 2 EV architecture, the same platform underpinning the Harrier EV.
Launch Timeline – November 2025
With fully revealed interiors and production-ready prototypes being tested, the Tata Sierra launch is expected by November 2025, likely timed with the Diwali festive season. Once introduced, it will take on rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder.
What sets the Sierra apart, however, is its unique combination of heritage-inspired design, advanced technology with the triple-screen dashboard, and multiple powertrain choices including an EV version.
Tata Sierra Interiors-A Modern Icon in the Making
The original Tata Sierra was one of India’s most iconic SUVs, remembered for its bold styling and panoramic rear glass. The 2025 Sierra pays tribute to that legacy while reimagining it for modern, tech-savvy buyers. With its triple-screen interior, premium build quality, hybrid-ready architecture and upcoming EV variant, the Sierra has the potential to become Tata’s most advanced SUV yet.
