Tata Punch Facelift Spied with a New Rear Design
Tata Motors is working hard to keep its best-selling cars fresh, and the Punch is getting its first-ever facelift. Spy shots of the new model testing on the road show that the changes will be more than just minor updates. With a launch expected by the end of 2025, the new Punch is set to get a significant design makeover that will keep it modern and exciting for buyers.

Major Changes to the Rear
The new spy shots show that the rear of the Punch facelift is getting a brand-new design. The test car was seen with temporary taillights, which suggests that the final version will have new LED units. It is also possible that the taillights will be connected by a light bar, a design cue borrowed from its bigger sibling, the Nexon. This would give the Punch a much more modern and appealing look from the back.

Interior Gets a Tech Upgrade
The interior of the Punch facelift is getting a major upgrade, with many new features borrowed from the Punch EV. It will come with a new two-spoke steering wheel featuring an illuminated Tata logo, as well as a large 10.25-inch touchscreen. This new infotainment system will support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, making it more convenient than ever. The car is also expected to get a new 8-speaker music system and ventilated seats.
Powertrain and Other Features
The Punch facelift will continue to use the same reliable 1.2L 3-cylinder NA Petrol engine and the popular dual-cylinder i-CNG system. It will also retain many of its existing features, such as a sunroof, climate control, and rain-sensing wipers. These updates are meant to keep the Punch competitive, especially since small car sales are expected to get a boost from the new GST 2.0 reforms.
