Tata Motors has announced a major price cut across its entire Nexon SUV lineup, with New Tata Nexon Prices of up to Rs 1.55 lakh. This significant move is a direct result of the recent GST revision, which has made the popular sub-4m SUV much more affordable. The price cuts, which range from 9% to 11%, cover all 42 variants, including petrol and diesel options, with manual, AMT, and DCT transmissions. This is a huge win for buyers and is set to strengthen the Nexon’s position in a highly competitive segment.

The petrol variants of the Nexon have received some of the biggest price cuts. The price of the petrol manual (MT) models has been reduced by up to Rs 1.15 lakh, with the base Smart trim now starting at Rs 7.31 lakh. For those who prefer an automatic, the Petrol AMT lineup is also cheaper by up to Rs 1.05 lakh. The DCT trims have received some of the highest reductions in the petrol range, with price cuts of up to Rs 1.25 lakh.

The Biggest Savings Are on Diesel Variants

The diesel variants of the Tata Nexon have benefited the most from the GST revision in terms of percentage reduction, with price cuts of around 11% across the board. The price of the diesel manual (MT) models has been reduced by up to Rs 1.47 lakh, while the diesel AMT trims are now cheaper by up to Rs 1.54 lakh. These significant savings are expected to make the diesel Nexon even more appealing for buyers who are focused on efficiency and long-distance travel.

With these price reductions, Tata Motors has made the Nexon an even stronger contender against rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet.
