According to the latest Vahan data, Tata overtook both Mahindra and Hyundai in October 2025 sales, moving into the #2 spot behind Maruti Suzuki.

With 74,705 units sold, Tata recorded a massive 81% month-on-month growth, far outpacing Mahindra’s 66,800 and Hyundai’s 65,045 units.
Just two months ago, Tata’s sales were nearly half this number — making this one of the biggest growth spikes of the year.

Industry experts credit the surge to the success of models like Punch, Nexon, and Harrier EV, plus festive demand and GST 2.0 price drops.
