Tata Motors Car Sales October 2025: Record-Breaking 61,134 Units Sold, 27% Growth in Festive Season
Tata Motors has once again outperformed expectations with record-breaking sales in October 2025, marking its second consecutive month of highest-ever numbers. The company’s total domestic passenger vehicle (PV) sales reached 61,134 units, a 27.02% year-on-year (YoY) jump over October 2024.
Compared to September 2025, Tata recorded a 2.46% month-on-month (MoM) increase, maintaining its leadership in the SUV and EV segments during the festive period.

Tata Motors’ consistent growth has been supported by strong demand across its SUV portfolio, including the Nexon, Punch, Harrier, and Safari. The festive season, GST 2.0 tax cuts, and new Adventure X editions further fueled sales momentum.

2. Tata Electric Vehicle (EV) Sales October 2025


Tata continues to dominate India’s EV segment, commanding the highest EV market share with a 73% YoY rise in electric sales. The Tiago EV and Nexon EV remain top performers, while the Punch EV gained rapid traction post-launch.

SUVs accounted for an impressive 77% share of Tata’s total car sales, confirming India’s shift toward rugged, feature-rich family vehicles.
4. Exports and Future Outlook
Tata Motors exported 161 units in October 2025 — a 44.9% decline from 292 units in the same month last year. However, domestic momentum remains strong thanks to refreshed models and increased localization.
The company is gearing up for several major launches, including the new Tata Sierra on November 25, 2025, along with seven upcoming models across ICE, EV, and CNG segments.
