Manual 1000-hp Yenko Silverado Laughs at F-150 Lobo
The 1000-hp Yenko Silverado from Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) is Chevy’s absolutely wild answer to the newly reignited street truck scene. Ford’s Lobo trucks, the Maverick Lobo and F-150 Lobo, recently reignited an old flame from two decades ago. With a lower stance, sport-tuned setup, and focus on urban performance, the Lobo signaled a proper return of the “street truck.” Ram was quick to answer with its own SEMA concept of the 1500, pairing muscle-car cues with truck utility.
Suddenly, street trucks are cool again. And then there’s Chevy—or rather, SVE. The New Jersey-based tuner has taken the Silverado and turned it into something both nostalgic and absurd: a 2026 Yenko/SC Silverado with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8, a manual transmission, and a clean, round 1,000 horsepower.

Inside the 1000-hp Yenko Silverado
Under the hood sits a hand-built 6.2-liter aluminum-block V8, fortified with forged internals, upgraded heads, a high-output supercharger, and a Boost-By-Wire system. SVE even allows buyers to choose between 91- or 93-octane calibration. Exhaust gases exit through a stainless dual cat-back system with polished tips.
To manage all that power, massive six-piston Brembo brakes hide behind 22-inch forged wheels, which are wrapped in Nitto performance tires. The suspension gets the full street truck treatment, dropping two inches up front and a full five inches at the rear. It’s supported by Fox performance shocks, a heavy-duty sway bar, and traction bars—all designed to keep this truck planted when all hell breaks loose under throttle.
Crucially, unlike Ford’s automatic-only Lobo or Ram’s concept, this 1000-hp Yenko Silverado runs a manual six-speed transmission. That single feature sets it apart as a purist’s performance truck in this new muscle pickup era.

Collector-Grade Muscle on Four Doors
Visually, the Yenko is loud in all the right ways: classic side stripes, a functional cowl hood, and Yenko badges everywhere. Color choices include Gloss Black, Hugger Orange, Silver, or Blue, with custom options also available.
SVE hasn’t mentioned official pricing, but given past Yenko projects, it’s safe to assume this 1000-hp Yenko Silverado will cost well into the six figures, and production numbers will be extremely limited. Each truck comes with factory-style documentation and a three-year or 36,000-mile limited warranty.
While Ford and Ram are dipping their toes back into street-truck nostalgia, this Chevy build goes full throttle. We’re excited to watch from the sidelines because we know what’s next: even wilder truck builds meant for the tarmac.
