Suzuki 2-Wheelers Get Price Cuts After GST 2.0

Following the new GST 2.0 reforms, Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced price reductions across its scooter and motorcycle lineup. The company will pass on the full benefit of the new tax structure to its customers, making popular models like the Access, Avenis, Burgman, Gixxer, and V-Strom more affordable. The new prices are effective from September 22.

Major Savings on Scooters

Suzuki’s popular scooters are now significantly cheaper. The Access, one of the most popular scooters in the country, receives a price benefit of Rs 8,523. The sportier Avenis and the maxi-scooter-styled Burgman Street also get notable reductions of Rs 7,823 and Rs 8,373, respectively. The top-end Burgman Street EX sees the highest scooter price cut, with a benefit of Rs 9,798.

Big Price Drops for Motorcycles

The price cuts are even more substantial in Suzuki’s motorcycle lineup. The Gixxer 150 is now cheaper by Rs 11,520, while the fully-faired Gixxer SF offers a saving of Rs 12,311. For those in the 250cc segment, the Gixxer 250 is cheaper by Rs 16,525, and the Gixxer SF 250 gets the largest reduction of all, with a benefit of Rs 18,024.

V-Strom SX and the Broader Market

Adventure enthusiasts will also benefit, as the V-Strom SX receives a price reduction of Rs 17,982. This makes it more competitive against rivals in a segment where pricing is a key factor. The price cuts across all models, along with lower taxes on spare parts, are expected to boost sales for Suzuki and the broader auto market ahead of the festive season.
