Suzuki Two Wheeler Sales Sep 2025 – 25% YoY Growth Driven by Festive Demand
Suzuki Motorcycle India has reported impressive numbers for September 2025, riding high on festive demand and the impact of revised GST 2.0 reforms. Domestic sales surged strongly, though exports faced a sharp decline. With reduced two-wheeler prices and increased dealership footfalls, the brand is optimistic about continuing this momentum into the festive season.
Suzuki Two Wheeler Sales – Domestic and Export Performance
In September 2025, Suzuki sold 1,05,886 units in the domestic market, a 37.05% YoY growth over 77,263 units in September 2024. This equals a volume gain of 28,623 units.
Exports, however, dipped by 19.68%, falling to 17,664 units from 21,992 units in the same period last year. Domestic sales contributed 82.7% of total sales, while exports held 14.3%.

Compared to August 2025, Suzuki’s domestic sales rose 15.56% (from 91,629 units). Exports, however, declined 20.81%, dropping from 22,307 units in August.
Overall MoM performance was still positive, with total sales improving 8.44% to 1,23,550 units from 1,13,936 units in August 2025.

In Q2 FY26 (July–September 2025), Suzuki recorded robust growth:
- Domestic Sales: 2,93,544 units, up 10.63% YoY from 2,65,345 units.
- Exports: 57,542 units, up 3.82% YoY from 55,424 units.
- Total Sales: 3,51,086 units, a 9.45% increase from 3,20,769 units in Q2 FY25.
Suzuki Two Wheeler YTD Sales – April to September 2025
In the first half of FY26 (Apr–Sep 2025), Suzuki two-wheeler sales showed steady momentum:
- Domestic Sales: 5,70,454 units, up 10.44% YoY.
- Exports: 1,17,720 units, up 13.82% YoY.
- Total YTD Sales: 6,88,174 units, a strong 11.01% increase from 6,19,945 units last year.
GST 2.0 Boost and New Launches
The new GST 2.0 reforms reduced tax slabs from 28% to 18% on select two-wheelers, resulting in price cuts ranging from ₹7,823 to ₹18,024 across Suzuki’s lineup. Popular models like the Access, Burgman Street, Avenis, Gixxer, and V-Strom SX have all benefitted.
In September 2025, Suzuki also introduced the 2025 V-Strom SX adventure tourer and flagged off a 10-day Himalayan Expedition for V-Strom SX owners, further enhancing brand engagement.
