The much-anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 has once again been spotted on test, but this time in an alloy wheel variant that hints at a more road-biased adventure motorcycle. Unlike the previously teased off-road-focused version, the alloy model appears nearly production-ready, complete with premium touches and adjustable suspension. This strongly suggests that Royal Enfield is planning to expand its flagship 750cc ADV lineup with multiple flavors to suit different riders.

Recent spy shots reveal that the alloy variant is not just a cosmetic update but a purposeful move to create a road-focused version of the Himalayan 750.
The motorcycle was spotted with 5-element alloy wheels, an up-swept exhaust, a rear luggage rack, and a mandatory saree guard, all pointing toward production readiness. The design also borrows premium cues such as LED tail lamps with integrated turn indicators and functional ORVMs for wider peripheral visibility.
Adjustable Suspension & Performance
The biggest talking point from the spy shots is the presence of adjustable rear suspension, with a visible dial above the footpeg. This suggests that both the front USD forks and rear mono-shock could offer adjustability, giving riders the ability to tune their bike for comfort or performance.
In addition, the Himalayan 750 alloy variant packs dual front disc brakes, significantly upgrading braking performance over current RE offerings.
Under the tank lies Royal Enfield’s new 750cc parallel-twin engine, featuring air and oil cooling with finned casings. Expected output stands at around 55 bhp and 60 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. This powertrain promises smooth long-distance touring while maintaining off-road ruggedness.
