Royal Enfield 450cc and 650cc Bikes Get Price Hike After GST Reform
Royal Enfield has announced that its 450cc and 650cc motorcycles will see a price increase of up to Rs 29,486 due to the new GST 2.0 reforms. These updated prices will take effect from September 22, 2025. While the company’s popular 350cc lineup will see a price reduction, the larger motorcycles, which fall under a new, higher tax bracket, will become more expensive.
Price Hikes on the Royal Enfield 450cc Lineup
The Himalayan 450 and its siblings are among the models getting a price hike. The Scram 440 sees an increase of up to Rs 15,641, pushing its starting price to Rs 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom). The Guerrilla 450 range gets an increase of up to Rs 18,479, while the Himalayan 450 will now be more expensive by up to Rs 21,682, with its price starting from Rs 3.05 lakh.
Increases on the 650cc Twins
The price hike also affects Royal Enfield’s popular 650cc twin motorcycles. The Interceptor and Continental GT 650 will see an increase of up to Rs 23,861 and Rs 25,645, respectively. The Classic 650 gets a price hike of up to Rs 25,607, while the Shotgun 650‘s price will increase by up to Rs 27,889. The Super Meteor 650, the most expensive offering, gets the highest price hike in the brand’s entire line-up, with an increase of up to Rs 29,486.
