Unlike standard systems that follow strict rules, Wayve’s AI uses “embodied AI.” This means the car learns from experience and can handle complex urban environments where lanes might fade or traffic is unpredictable. While Tesla uses a “camera-only” approach, Nissan is prioritizing safety by using a combination of next-generation LiDAR sensors, cameras, and radar. This creates a redundant safety net that ensures the car sees everything, even in bad weather.
