15 New Toyota Cars To Launch In India By 2030 – SUVs, Pickups, and EVs Incoming
Toyota is preparing a major product expansion in India with 15 new cars planned by 2030, as the brand aims to boost its market share from 8% to 10%. India has now become Toyota’s third-largest global market, following the US and China — and the automaker is ready to strengthen its presence with fresh models across new segments.
Among the upcoming models, two all-new SUVs will take on rivals like Hyundai and Mahindra. One of them will be the Land Cruiser FJ, unveiled at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show, set to become Toyota’s most affordable Land Cruiser in India. Another SUV, sharing its platform with the Hilux Champ, is also expected.
Toyota is also developing an affordable pickup truck positioned below the Hilux, targeting rural and semi-urban buyers. The lineup will further include Suzuki-sourced cars, new EVs like the Urban Cruiser BEV, and facelifted versions of existing models.
To support this growth, Toyota will invest USD 3 billion to expand its Bidadi and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar plants, boosting production to 1 million units annually for both Indian and export markets.
