Hyundai is gearing up to launch the new-gen Hyundai Venue on November 4, 2025, and ahead of its official price announcement, the brand has revealed the full engine lineup for the popular subcompact SUV. With bookings already open, the next-gen Venue promises more choice, better features, and improved safety tech.
New-gen Hyundai Venue Engine Options

The upcoming Venue will be offered with three engine options, catering to different types of buyers:
- 1.2-litre Petrol Engine
The entry-level option is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor producing 82 BHP at 6,000 rpm and 114.7 Nm at 4,200 rpm. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. - 1.0-litre Turbo Petrol Engine
For performance-focused buyers, Hyundai will offer a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 118 BHP at 6,000 rpm and 172 Nm between 1,500–4,000 rpm. Customers can choose between a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DCT for added convenience. - 1.5-litre Diesel Engine
The diesel option remains a strong point, powered by a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine producing 114 BHP at 4,000 rpm and 250 Nm between 1,500–2,750 rpm. This engine will be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
New Features & Safety Tech

Beyond the mechanicals, the new-gen Hyundai Venue brings a significant feature upgrade. It now comes with:
- Level 2 ADAS driver assistance features
- Disc brakes on all four wheels for the first time
- A dual-screen layout similar to the Hyundai Creta, with a digital driver’s display and large infotainment screen
- Enhanced creature comforts including connected tech, premium upholstery, and more
Conclusion
With three distinct engine options – petrol, turbo-petrol, and diesel – the new-gen Hyundai Venue ensures there’s something for every buyer. Add to that ADAS Level 2 safety, a more premium interior, and Hyundai’s proven reliability, and the Venue is all set to strengthen its position in the sub-compact SUV segment.
The official launch on November 4 will reveal the pricing, but one thing is certain: the new-gen Hyundai Venue is aiming to raise the bar once again.
