Mercedes-AMG is steadily peeling back the layers on its first ground-up electric performance sedan. The Mercedes-AMG electric GT 4-Door Coupe is the first production model to utilize the AMG.EA platform, a dedicated high-performance EV architecture, and it’s built to deliver sustained, record-breaking power.
With camouflage thinning and marketing momentum building (including recent teasers with brand ambassador Brad Pitt), the electric grand tourer is clearly moving into the final stretch ahead of its 2027 model year arrival. The sedan’s powertrain draws directly from the technology developed in the endurance record-setting Concept AMG GT XX.
