Base Trim Lucid Gravity Touring price Debuts at $79,900
Two years after the Lucid Gravity first debuted, the long-promised “affordable” version of the all-electric SUV is here. Announced at this year’s LA Auto Show, the Lucid Gravity Touring price starts at $79,900 (before destination fee), finally expanding the EV company’s lineup and making the luxury SUV segment more accessible.
This new trim is $15,000 less expensive than the higher-end Grand Touring model, reflecting a strategic move by Lucid to appeal to a wider range of buyers. However, this price drop comes with certain trade-offs in power and range, which is part of the challenge facing luxury EV brands in the current, post-subsidy market.

Here is a comparison of the two trims and what you get for the lower entry cost.
Touring vs. Grand Touring: The Trade-Offs
The Gravity Touring maintains the same core platform and luxury amenities (like the 34-inch OLED screen and optional seven-seat layout) but trims down the powertrain for cost efficiency.
| Feature | Gravity Touring | Gravity Grand Touring | Difference |
| MSRP | $79,900 | $94,900 | $15,000 Less |
| Battery Capacity | 89 kWh | 123 kWh | Smaller Pack |
| EPA Range (Est.) | 337 Miles | Up to 450 Miles | -113 Miles |
| Horsepower | 560 hp | 828 hp | -268 hp |
| 0–60 MPH | 4.0 Seconds | ~3.5 Seconds | Slightly Slower |
| DC Fast Charging | Up to 300 kW (Native NACS Port) | Up to 300 kW (Native NACS Port) | Same Speed |

The Strategic Price Cut
The new Lucid Gravity Touring price represents a prime example of an all-electric brand trying to appeal to more car buyers with a simplified trim and trimmed-down starting price. In a market where federal tax credits are no longer driving sales momentum, achieving a sub-$80,000 MSRP is essential for competition.
Despite the reduction in power and range compared to the Grand Touring, the Touring model still retains impressive performance, hitting 60 mph in just 4.0 seconds. It also keeps the major convenience factor: the native NACS charging port, providing access to over 25,000 Tesla Supercharger stations across the country.

Selling Luxury in a Post-Subsidy World
While the base trim makes the Gravity more accessible, automotive experts note that selling a “stripped-down” luxury EV can be a hard sell, especially when competing with a used EV market that offers massive discounts on high-end vehicles. However, the Lucid Gravity Touring price strategy gives the brand a strong foot in the door of the critical SUV segment.
The Gravity Touring is available to order online now, with immediate delivery for certain configurations, allowing buyers to take advantage of the friendlier pricing right away.
