Kia India Sales Sep 2025: Registers 22,700 Units, Boosted by GST Reforms
Gurugram, India – Kia India reported total domestic sales of 22,700 units in September 2025. While this reflects a marginal 3.5% year-on-year (YoY) decline compared to September 2024, the company recorded a robust 15.8% month-on-month (MoM) growth from August 2025. This upswing in Kia India Sales Sep 2025 was significantly propelled by the positive impact of recent GST reforms, which have made vehicles more affordable, coupled with the onset of the festive season, boosting customer sentiment and demand across Kia’s diverse portfolio.
Kia India Sales Sep 2025–Popular Models Drive MoM Growth and Stable Quarterly Performance
Kia’s popular models continue to attract buyers with their comfort, innovation, and segment-leading features. Key contributors to the sales momentum include the Sonet, Carens, Carens Clavis, Seltos, Syros, and Carnival. These models have sustained customer interest, allowing Kia India to rebound strongly on a MoM basis.
For the quarter ended September 2025 (Q2 FY26), Kia sold a total of 65,460 units. This figure represents a flat growth of 0.2% YoY compared to 65,330 units sold in Q2 FY25, indicating resilience and stability in its quarterly performance despite the short-term monthly fluctuations.
Consistent Year-to-Date Growth and Global Footprint Expansion
Kia India’s performance over the longer term remains strong. From January to September 2026, the company sold a total of 206,582 units, marking a healthy 7.2% YoY growth compared to 192,690 units in the same period last year. This consistent growth reflects steady demand for Kia’s portfolio, reinforced by popular models and new launches like the Carnival.

Further underscoring its commitment to expanding its international presence, Kia India exported 2,606 units in September 2025.
