Kia India has once again demonstrated its strong foothold in the Indian automotive market. The company reported its best-ever November sales figures, driven by the consistent performance of its SUV and MPV lineup. While the festive season highs of October have cooled off, the brand continues to hold a substantial market share.

Overall Sales Overview

The South Korean automaker registered a robust 23.73% growth compared to the same month last year. In November 2024, sales stood at 20,600 units, which increased by 4,889 units this year. This positive trajectory highlights the growing demand for Kia vehicles in India.

However, on a month-on-month basis, the numbers saw a decline. Following a massive festive spike in October 2025 where 29,556 units were sold, November witnessed a 13.76% dip. Despite this expected correction, Kia’s market share slightly improved from 5.9% to 6.1% compared to the previous year.

Model-Wise Performance Analysis

The Kia Sonet continues to be the brand’s breadwinner. It commanded a massive 47.28% share of total sales in November 2025. With 12,051 units dispatched, the compact SUV saw a remarkable 30.21% increase over the 9,255 units sold in November 2024.

The Kia Carens secured the second spot, contributing over 25% to the total volume. It recorded sales of 6,530 units, which is a 15.13% growth over the previous year. The Seltos followed closely with 6,305 units, registering a 17.54% year-on-year growth.

The newly introduced Kia Syros added 544 units to the tally. While it is a fresh entrant, it experienced a 30.70% drop compared to its October numbers. Meanwhile, the premium Kia Carnival found 58 buyers, and the flagship EV9 saw a single unit sold. Interestingly, the EV6 recorded zero sales for the month.

Future Outlook and Launches

The sales momentum is expected to continue with the upcoming launch of the 2026 Kia Seltos. The company has already unveiled the updated SUV and opened bookings for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Prices are scheduled to be announced on January 2, 2026.

While the engine specifications for the new Seltos remain unchanged, it will feature new colour options and feature updates. Additionally, the Kia Syros Electric is currently undergoing testing, with a launch planned for 2026. These additions will further strengthen Kia’s diverse portfolio in India.
