Jawa & Yezdi Prices Drop Up to Rs 17,000 After GST Reform
Great news for bike lovers! Classic Legends, the company behind Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles, has announced a major price cut across its lineup. Thanks to the new GST 2.0 reforms, the tax on motorcycles under 350cc has been reduced from 28% to 18%. The company has fully passed on these benefits, making most of its popular bikes available for under Rs 2 lakh, a key price point for many buyers.
Big Savings on All Models
The price drops are significant and cover the entire Jawa and Yezdi portfolio. For example, the Jawa 42 now starts at just Rs 1.59 lakh, a saving of over Rs 13,500. The Yezdi Roadster is now available for Rs 1.93 lakh, with a price cut of over Rs 16,000. Even the premium Perak and Adventure models are now priced just below the Rs 2 lakh mark.

New Rules for Two-Wheelers
The GST 2.0 reform has completely changed the rules for the two-wheeler market. While bikes under 350cc now have a lower tax rate, bikes over 350cc will face a steep 40% GST slab. This means that the prices of larger motorcycles like the Himalayan 450 and the 650 Twins are likely to increase.
