The Hottest Hyundai Elantra N TCR Edition Finally Arrives in America
The Hyundai Elantra N is one of the more accessible performance cars today, but now the brand is leaning deeper into its motorsports side. The Hyundai Elantra N TCR Edition has officially arrived in the US, debuting at AutoMobility LA as a street-legal tribute to the brand’s six consecutive TCR Manufacturers’ Championships.
Instead of altering the Elantra N formula with radical engine swaps, Hyundai is mixing functional hardware upgrades with unmistakable visual enhancements. This limited-production sedan is designed to look and feel more focused without stepping outside street-car territory.
Here is a closer look at the race-bred hardware and when American buyers can get their hands on one.

Race-Bred Hardware on Display
The TCR Edition draws heavily from the Elantra N TCR racecar, offering genuine enhancements for track enthusiasts.
| Component | Feature | Benefit |
| Rear Wing | Adjustable Carbon-Fiber Swan-Neck | Adds functional downforce and aerodynamic purpose. |
| Wheels | Lightweight Gloss-Black 19-inch Forged | Reduces unsprung mass, improving steering response. |
| Brakes | TCR-Specific Four-Piston Monobloc Calipers | Larger, more effective braking system with two-piece rotors. |
| Powertrain | 2.0L Turbo-Four (276 hp) | Standard output, but available with 6-speed MT or 8-speed DCT. |
While the engine remains untouched from the standard Elantra N (delivering 276 horsepower and 289 lb-ft of torque), the mechanical upgrades—specifically the lighter wheels and superior brakes—are designed to make the car more effective on a race track.

Interior and Availability
The interior keeps the core layout of the standard Elantra N but adds materials tailored to this motorsports-inspired trim, offering a more tactile and exclusive feel.
- Alcantara Accents: The steering wheel, shift knob, boot, handbrake lever, and center armrest are wrapped in Alcantara.
- TCR Touches: The steering wheel features a Performance Blue top marker, and the front seatbelts are also colored Performance Blue. N Performance aluminum door sills and unique rear deck TCR badging complete the look.
American buyers will be able to get the Hyundai Elantra N TCR Edition starting in the first quarter of 2026. As production will be limited, interested enthusiasts and collectors should plan to act fast. Pricing will be announced closer to the model’s US market arrival, but it is expected to fetch a premium over the standard Elantra N’s MSRP.
