Hyundai Cars Get Cheaper with New GST Rules
Hyundai India has joined other major car brands by announcing a price cut across its entire lineup of petrol and diesel cars. Thanks to the new GST 2.0 reform, Hyundai has decided to pass on the complete tax benefit to its customers. This means many of your favorite Hyundai models will be significantly more affordable, with prices dropping by up to Rs 2.40 lakh.

How the New GST 2.0 Works
Under the GST 2.0 system, small cars with petrol or diesel engines that are under 4 meters long are now taxed at 18%. This is a big drop from the previous rates of 29% and 31%. Larger SUVs have also been moved to a new 40% tax slab, which is still lower than the previous 48%. Because of these changes, Hyundai can offer more affordable prices to its customers.
A Message from Hyundai
Mr. Unsoo Kim, the Managing Director of Hyundai Motor India, commented on the price cuts, saying that this is a “progressive and far-sighted” decision by the Government of India. He added that the reform will make personal cars more accessible and affordable for millions of customers across the country.
