Honda WN7 Electric Motorcycle Unveiled – Specs, Range, Price & Launch Details
Introduction
Honda has officially unveiled its first electric motorcycle, the Honda WN7 Electric Motorcycle, set to debut at the EICMA 2025 show in Milan on November 4. Based on the “EV Fun Concept” from EICMA 2024, the WN7 represents Honda’s bold step toward a carbon-neutral future, with plans to make all motorcycles carbon neutral by 2040.

Range and Charging Capabilities
The Honda WN7 Electric Motorcycle comes equipped with a fixed lithium-ion battery offering a claimed range of 130 km on a single charge. Rapid charging is supported via a CCS2 (Combined Charging System Type 2) port, which allows the battery to go from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes. For everyday users, a standard home charger can fully recharge the bike in under three hours.
Performance and Power Versions
Honda claims the WN7’s performance is comparable to 600 cc petrol-powered motorcycles in output and rivals 1,000 cc ICE bikes in torque. Two versions will be available:
- 18 kW version with liquid cooling, suitable for A2 licence holders.
- 11 kW version, designed for A1 licence holders.
This dual offering ensures that the WN7 appeals to both new riders and seasoned enthusiasts.
Features and Technology

A 5-inch TFT digital display is fitted on the WN7, bringing modern functionality with Honda’s RoadSync connectivity system. Riders will benefit from advanced navigation, music, and smartphone notifications directly integrated into the display, elevating the riding experience.
Production and Pricing

Production of the Honda WN7 Electric Motorcycle is scheduled to begin in 2025, with deliveries to dealerships set for 2026. Pricing has been confirmed at GBP 12,999 (approx. ₹15.5 lakh) in international markets, making it a premium yet competitive offering in the growing electric motorcycle space.
Conclusion

The launch of the Honda WN7 Electric Motorcycle marks the brand’s serious entry into the EV motorcycle segment. With a solid 130 km range, rapid charging, advanced connectivity features, and performance that rivals mid-capacity petrol bikes, the WN7 is set to be a game-changer in Honda’s lineup. Its arrival at EICMA 2025 signals the beginning of Honda’s wider electrification roadmap.
