Facelifted Genesis G80 Magma Spied With Massive 27-Inch OLED Screen
Our friends over at The Korean Car Blog managed to spot the updated Genesis G80 Magma, now wearing the upcoming G80 facelift and packing a completely reworked interior. The prototype reveals that the facelifted Genesis G80 Magma merges Genesis’s new luxury-sedan design language with the high-performance Magma program, signaling a major update for the high-performance sedan.
The sighting confirms Genesis’s broader effort to push into premium sports sedan territory, positioning the Magma variant as a serious alternative to established European rivals.

Here is a look at the two most significant changes coming to the G80.
Key Upgrades: Performance and Technology
The G80 Magma prototype spotted testing in the UAE introduces major physical and digital revisions, elevating both the vehicle’s capability and its interior luxury.
| Area | Upgrade | Note |
| Interior Tech | 27-Inch Curved OLED Display | Replaces the familiar dual-screen layout, integrating the cluster and infotainment. |
| Expected Power | 3.5-liter Twin-Turbo V6 | Earlier reports indicated tuning to roughly 500 horsepower. |
| Exterior Aero | Wider Fenders, Lowered Stance | Aggressive aero elements, chunkier side skirts, and redesigned lower intakes. |
| Control | Touch-Based HVAC | The center console adopts a new climate-control layout, replacing some physical buttons. |

Exterior and Interior Technology Shift
The exterior of the facelifted Genesis G80 Magma adopts the updated 2025 G80 front end, including a cleaner crest grille and slimmer lighting signatures. Crucially, the wider fenders, lowered stance, and aggressive aero elements underline that this is clearly a Magma test mule, integrating the brand’s performance styling direction with its refined new sedan look.
The biggest surprise, however, lies inside the cabin. The single 27-inch curved OLED panoramic display running across the dashboard signals a massive interior technology shift for the entire facelifted G80 lineup. This move aligns the cabin more closely with high-end luxury rivals and prepares the G80 Magma to compete on digital prowess as well as on track performance.
