Citroën Slashes Prices by Up to Rs 2.70 Lakh with New GST Rules
Citroën India has announced a major price reduction across its entire vehicle lineup, with prices dropping by up to Rs 2.70 lakh. This move is a direct result of the new GST 2.0 reform, which has simplified the tax structure on passenger vehicles. By passing the full benefit of this tax reduction to customers, Citroën aims to make its cars more affordable and accessible, especially during the upcoming festive season. The new prices will take effect from September 22, 2025.

Big Savings on C3 and Aircross SUV
The new tax policy is making Citroën’s most popular models much cheaper. The entry-level C3 hatchback will see a price drop of around Rs 84,000, with its starting price now as low as Rs 4.80 lakh. The Aircross SUV, available in both 5- and 7-seater variants, will become more affordable by up to Rs 50,000. This makes both models very competitive in their segments.

Maximum Benefit on the Flagship C5 Aircross SUV
The biggest price cut is on the flagship C5 Aircross SUV. Its price has been reduced by a massive Rs 2.70 lakh, with the top-end Shine variant now priced at Rs 37.32 lakh (ex-showroom). This is because the government has abolished the 50% tax slab on luxury goods, capping the maximum tax on premium SUVs at 40%.
