Brabus 900 Superblack Bentley Continental GT: A 900HP Monster
When you hear the name Brabus, you usually think of modified Mercedes-Benz G-Wagons or insane smart cars. However, the famous German tuning firm is diversifying. For the first time ever, they have turned their attention to British luxury, unveiling the Brabus 900 Superblack Bentley Continental GT.
A New Era for Brabus Tuning
Bentley is already known for making exquisite machines that balance comfort and speed. But for some customers, “stock” is never enough. Brabus has stepped in to fill this gap with two new creations based on the Continental model: the Brabus 900 Superblack (Coupe) and the Brabus 900 (Convertible).
These vehicles represent a major shift for the company, applying their signature “sinister” styling and performance upgrades to a brand other than Mercedes.
Insane Performance Upgrades
The highlight of the Brabus 900 Superblack Bentley Continental GT is what lies under the hood. Brabus engineers took Bentley’s advanced 4.0-liter V8 biturbo hybrid engine and tweaked it to perfection.
The result is a staggering 900 metric horsepower (888 hp) and 811 lb-ft of torque. To ensure the car sounds as mean as it drives, they also installed a valve-controlled sports exhaust system. This allows the driver to switch between a subtle whisper and a roar that wakes the neighbors.
Carbon Fiber and Custom Luxury
In terms of design, Brabus did not hold back. Both the coupe and convertible models feature an extensive carbon fiber body kit. This includes a carbon front skirt, a carbon rear diffuser, and a rear spoiler to improve aerodynamics. The look is finished off with 20-inch Monoblock ZM “Platinum Edition” rims.
Inside, the luxury is limitless. Buyers can choose between the “Brabus Glaze Trim,” which includes 191 bespoke interior pieces, or the “Signature Interior” with premium black leather.
Coupe vs. Convertible: What’s the Difference?
While they share the same engine, the two models have different personalities:
- The 900 Superblack: Based on the Continental GT Speed, this coupe is finished in deep black. It is designed for a sleek, understated, and aggressive look.
- The Brabus 900: Based on the GTC Convertible, this model is finished in a unique “Pale Brown.” It is the more expressive option, perfect for those who want to be seen with the top down.
Price and Availability
As you might expect, the Brabus 900 Superblack Bentley Continental GT is not cheap. Brabus has listed the price as “upon inquiry,” which essentially means if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it. However, for those with the budget, these custom-built machines offer a level of exclusivity that a standard Bentley simply cannot match.
