Maruti Suzuki Festive Sales 2025: 4.5 Lakh Bookings & 3.25 Lakh Units Sold – Record-Breaking Growth

The 2025 festive season has turned into a landmark period for India’s automotive industry, with Maruti Suzuki leading the charge. Maruti Suzuki Festive Sales Recorded an astonishing 4.5 lakh bookings and retailed 3.25 lakh units, making it one of the strongest festive performances in recent years.

The car market witnessed a surge in demand thanks to lowered GST rates, attractive finance schemes, and heightened festive sentiment. Sales during the Navratri-to-Diwali window rose sharply, with industry estimates pointing to a 15–35% year-on-year growth.

A standout day was Dhanteras 2025, where more than 51,000 Maruti cars were delivered in a single day. SUVs and EVs were the biggest growth drivers, with consumer demand pushing the market to all-new highs.

Other OEMs too registered strong momentum. Tata Motors delivered over 1 lakh units, reflecting a 33% YoY rise, with the Nexon contributing 38,000 sales (+73%) and the Punch adding 32,000 units (+29%). Tata’s EV lineup also delivered 10,000 units, showing mainstream buyers’ increasing appetite for electric vehicles.

Hyundai Motor India also reported around 2,500 daily deliveries, translating into 30% growth compared to last year. Across the board, inquiries grew by 10% and bookings by 17%, signaling strong market sentiment.

With these festive numbers, the Indian auto market has set the tone for the rest of FY2025–26.
