Car sales post GST 2.0 have witnessed a massive surge, with over 5 lakh units sold within a month of the new tax regime rollout. The GST 2.0 reforms, effective from September 22, have given the Indian auto sector its biggest festive boost yet.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman confirmed that passenger vehicle retail sales could touch 6.5 to 7 lakh units, setting an all-time high for the industry.
