The Toyota Land Cruiser FJ price in India is expected to be in the range of ₹35–40 lakh (ex-showroom). Toyota has officially unveiled the new Land Cruiser FJ, a rugged compact SUV that many are calling the “Mini Fortuner.”
The SUV has dimensions of 4,574 mm in length, 1,854 mm in width, and 1,960 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,580 mm. Its boxy design, C-shaped LED DRLs, projector headlamps, roof rails, and tailgate-mounted spare wheel give it a true off-road stance.
Inside, the Land Cruiser FJ offers a minimalistic cabin with a large touchscreen, round AC vents, and durable finishes. The SUV will be powered by a 2.7-litre petrol engine producing 161 BHP and 245 Nm, paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox and part-time 4WD.
Globally, Toyota has unveiled two versions – one modern and one retro-styled with round headlamps, snorkel, and modular bumpers that can be swapped after damage. Both highlight its tough, adventure-ready DNA.
The Land Cruiser FJ is based on the IMV platform that also underpins the Toyota Hilux Champ. While it won’t be sold in the US or Europe, India is considered a key potential market. The SUV will officially launch in Japan in mid-2026, and an Indian debut could follow soon after.
