Toyota Sales Sept 2025: Innova Leads, Fortuner and Hyryder Push 14% Growth
Toyota Records Double-Digit Growth in September 2025
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) achieved 27,089 domestic sales in September 2025, marking a 14% YoY growth compared to September 2024. This strong performance was fueled by the dominance of the Innova series, the consistent sales of the Fortuner, and the rising popularity of badge-engineered models like the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. Favorable GST 2.0 price reforms and festive demand ahead of Navratri further boosted volumes.
Innova and Fortuner: Core Toyota Strengths
The Innova (Crysta + Hycross) remains Toyota’s best-selling product with 9,783 units in September 2025, up 21% YoY. Interestingly, the Hycross has overtaken the Crysta in sales, showing a clear shift towards modern, monocoque-based SUVs.
The Fortuner contributed 2,783 units, a steady 13% YoY growth, reaffirming its status as India’s favorite ladder-frame SUV.
Other premium models also saw traction:
- Vellfire – 107 units (+23% YoY)
- Land Cruiser 300 – 27 units (launched recently, strong demand)
- Camry – 137 units (+8% YoY)
- Hilux – 219 units (+18% YoY)
Badge-Engineered Models Accelerate Toyota Sales in Sept 2025
The alliance with Maruti Suzuki continues to be a major growth driver for Toyota.

The Hyryder was the second-best-selling Toyota in September 2025, registering 41% YoY growth. Meanwhile, the Glanza maintained stability with 2% growth, but the Rumion dropped sharply by 58%, showing weakness in the rebadged MPV segment.
Conclusion: Toyota Sales Sept 2025 Show Balanced Growth
With 27,089 units sold, Toyota’s growth story in September 2025 is a mix of traditional strongholds (Innova, Fortuner) and alliance-led models (Hyryder, Glanza). GST 2.0 reforms and festive demand created the perfect environment for sales acceleration. As the festive season continues, Toyota is well-positioned to sustain momentum, with the Hyryder and Innova Hycross leading the charge for future growth.
