Suzuki To Unveil Hydrogen Burgman, New BEV Scooter & Flex-Fuel Gixxer SF 250

Suzuki Motor Corporation is preparing for a major showcase at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 (October 30 – November 9, Tokyo Big Sight). The spotlight will be on the new Burgman hydrogen prototype, alongside the e-Address BEV scooter and the Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel. This lineup demonstrates Suzuki’s multi-pathway carbon neutrality approach, spanning hydrogen, ethanol, and battery-electric mobility.

Suzuki e-Address BEV Scooter

The e-Address BEV scooter makes its Japan debut as Suzuki’s first global electric scooter. Powered by a 0.98 kW motor, it delivers performance on par with a 125cc petrol scooter. Compact and practical (1,860 mm long, 715 mm wide, 1,140 mm tall), it caters to urban commuters who want eco-friendly mobility without compromising convenience.

New Burgman Hydrogen Prototype

The new Burgman hydrogen scooter is designed for riders who love the feel and sound of an ICE engine but want a greener alternative. Powered by hydrogen fuel, it delivers traditional exhaust acoustics with reduced emissions. At the show, Suzuki will display a cut-away version of the Burgman Hydrogen to illustrate its technical progress since the 2023 showcase. This new Burgman represents Suzuki’s strong push towards hydrogen-powered mobility.

Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Flex-Fuel

The Gixxer SF 250 FFV runs on E85 ethanol blend fuel and was already launched in India earlier in 2025 at ₹2.17 lakh (ex-showroom). With updated injectors, fuel pumps, and ECU tuning, the bike can burn plant-based ethanol fuel, significantly reducing CO2 emissions. This makes the Gixxer FFV an exciting blend of performance and sustainability for ICE enthusiasts.
