Hyundai India Sees Strong Festive Boost
Hyundai Motor India had a great September 2025, with total sales crossing 70,347 units, compared to 64,201 units in September 2024. This growth was supported by festive season demand and the impact of the new GST 2.0 tax cuts. Out of this total, domestic sales stood at 51,547 units, while exports contributed another 18,800 units.
Hyundai Creta Leads the Charge
The biggest highlight was the Hyundai Creta sales in Sept 2025, which reached an all-time high of 18,861 units. This makes it the best-ever monthly sales performance for the Creta in its decade-long journey in India. With SUVs becoming increasingly popular, Hyundai reported that SUVs accounted for 72.4% of its domestic sales in September, translating to 37,313 units.
Venue Joins the Growth Story
Alongside the Creta, the Hyundai Venue also recorded its strongest monthly sales in the past 20 months, with 11,484 units sold in September 2025. The upcoming new-gen Venue launch, expected in November, is likely to further strengthen Hyundai’s position in the subcompact SUV space.
