Kawasaki Announces Discounts of Up to Rs 1.5 Lakh
Team Green is getting ready for the festive season with some exciting offers on its motorcycles. In a pre-emptive move, Kawasaki has introduced discounts of up to Rs 1.5 lakh on its Ninja and Versys models. These deals are designed to help the company clear its unsold inventory before the new GST 2.0 tax rates come into effect on September 22, 2025, which will increase prices on most of its bikes.
Big Price Drop on Ninja Models
The Ninja family, a favorite among sportbike enthusiasts, is getting some of the biggest discounts. The litre-class Ninja ZX-10R, for example, is now available with up to a Rs 1.5 lakh discount, depending on the color you choose. Similarly, the powerful Ninja 1100SX is being offered with a Rs 1 lakh discount. These offers make it a great time to buy one of these high-performance machines.

Major Savings on Versys Adventure Tourers
The discounts extend to Kawasaki’s adventure tourer lineup as well. The largest offer in this segment is a cashback benefit of up to Rs 1.1 lakh on the Versys 1100, making it a much more attractive package. The Versys 650 gets a Rs 20,000 cashback, while the smaller Versys X-300, aimed at newer riders, comes with a Rs 25,000 discount.

New GST Rules on Motorcycles
The reason for these discounts is the new GST reform. From September 22, motorcycles with engines above 350cc will face a higher 40% GST, up from the previous 28%. This will cause a price hike for most of Kawasaki’s bikes. However, models under 350cc, like the Versys X-300 and Ninja 300, are expected to get a price cut as their GST will drop to 18%.
