Mahindra Slashes SUV Prices, Passes on GST Benefits
In a major announcement, Mahindra & Mahindra has confirmed that it will pass on the full benefits of the revised GST 2.0 rates to its customers. The new prices are effective immediately, as of September 6, 2025, a full two weeks before the new rates officially take effect for the industry. This proactive move is expected to give a significant boost to sales, especially with the festive season just around the corner.

Significant Savings on All Models
The price drops are substantial, with reductions of up to Rs 1.56 lakh on the XUV 3XO Diesel. The savings are a direct result of the new tax structure, which has lowered the GST on smaller SUVs to 18% (from 29-31%) and on larger models to 40% (from 48%). This makes Mahindra’s entire SUV lineup, including the XUV700, Scorpio-N, and Thar, more affordable.
A “Customer First” Approach
By implementing these price cuts immediately, Mahindra is reinforcing its “Customer First” philosophy. The move not only makes it easier for people to buy a new SUV but also strengthens consumer confidence. The company expects this to drive strong demand during the festive season, which is traditionally a peak period for car purchases.
