The wait for Mahindra’s next big SUV update is almost over. Mahindra & Mahindra has officially started accepting pre-bookings for the upcoming Mahindra XUV 7XO. Essentially a significantly updated version of the popular XUV700, this new model adopts the brand’s revised naming convention following the XUV 3XO.

Interested buyers can now pre-book the SUV online via the official website or visit their nearest Mahindra dealership. The SUV is scheduled to make its grand debut on January 5, 2026.

Design & Feature Upgrades: Inspired by the Future

The XUV 7XO is not just a name change; it brings substantial cosmetic and tech updates inspired by the XEV 9S.

  • Exterior: Teasers reveal a redesigned front grille, C-shaped LED headlamps, and distinctive 7-shaped DRLs that wrap around the cluster. It also gets sharper tail-lamp elements and a fresh set of alloy wheels.
  • Triple-Screen Dashboard: The cabin is expected to feature a massive upgrade with a triple-screen layout. This comprises a 10.25-inch digital driver display, a 12.3-inch central infotainment screen, and a 12.3-inch co-driver entertainment screen.
  • Premium Tech: Expect advanced features like a new key fob, auto parking, ventilated front and rear seats, and multi-zone climate control.
