2026 Honda Ridgeline Sees Modest Price Increase

The Honda Ridgeline is holding its ground in the competitive midsize pickup truck segment with a new 2026 model. While the truck doesn’t have many major changes, it has received a modest price increase of less than $500 across most trims compared to the 2025 model year. This makes it a slightly more expensive option, but still a strong value against many of its rivals.

Minor Updates to the 2026 Model

While the truck’s core remains the same, Honda has made a few minor updates for 2026. The Ridgeline TrailSport now offers a new Ash Green Metallic color option, giving it a fresh look. Additionally, the Black Edition trim is now available with a contrasting black roof, offering buyers a more distinct and stylish appearance.

Unique Features in a Competitive Market

The Ridgeline continues to stand out from the competition with its unique features. It comes with a unibody construction, giving it a more comfortable, crossover-like ride. It also boasts a class-exclusive, lockable in-bed trunk under the floor, which adds 7.3 cubic feet of secure storage. This feature sets the Ridgeline apart from other midsize trucks.

The Powertrain and Fuel Economy

The 2026 Ridgeline still uses a reliable 3.5-liter V-6 engine that delivers 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Its fuel economy is rated at 18/24/21 miles per gallon (mpg) city/highway/combined. While the Ridgeline is not the most powerful or fuel-efficient in its class, its figures are competitive with most non-hybrid rivals like the Chevrolet Colorado and the Jeep Gladiator.
