Honda 0 Series SUV and Sedan Previewed Ahead of 2026 India Launch
Honda has revealed the first prototypes of its ambitious Honda 0 Series SUV and sedan at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. Built on an all-new EV platform, these models are the first of seven electric vehicles planned under the 0 Series lineup. While they will debut in North America next year, the Honda 0 Series SUV is confirmed for India in 2026 as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).
Honda 0 Series SUV – Based on the Space Hub Concept

The Honda 0 Series SUV prototype takes inspiration from the Space Hub concept displayed earlier. It features an upright windshield for better cabin space and a squared-off rear design with hints of MPV styling. Honda has not revealed detailed technical specifications yet, but the SUV is designed to maximize interior comfort thanks to its dedicated EV platform and thin battery design.
Honda 0 Series Sedan – Sleek and Futuristic

Alongside the SUV, Honda also showcased the 0 Series sedan prototype, which looks nearly identical to the 2024 CES concept. The sedan sits lower and sleeker, with a coupe-like profile. Honda confirmed that this model will source power from an 80–90 kWh NMC battery, delivering over 482 km of range on a single charge. A larger 100 kWh battery variant will also be available.
Innovative Platform and Technology

One of the biggest breakthroughs in the 0 Series is its thin battery pack, which is about 8 mm slimmer than rivals. This design frees up more cabin space, ensuring a more spacious interior across all models. Both SUV and sedan will come with RWD and AWD configurations, powered by new compact e-axle motors. Entry-level models will feature a 244 hp rear motor, while higher-spec versions will offer up to 488 hp combined output.
Honda ASIMO OS and Level 3 ADAS

The 0 Series will debut Honda’s all-new ASIMO OS, named after its iconic humanoid robot. This operating system will control key functions such as autonomous driving, in-car infotainment, driver aids, and OTA updates. The models will also feature Level 3 ADAS, allowing drivers to take their hands off the wheel in certain conditions. Honda previously offered this technology in its Legend sedan, and now it’s being scaled across its EV lineup.

Market Arrival and Positioning
Globally, the 0 Series SUV and sedan will first launch in North America and Europe before reaching India in 2026. With premium positioning as a CBU, the Honda 0 Series SUV will rival models like the Hyundai Ioniq 7, Kia EV9, and Volvo EX90. Its futuristic design, advanced ADAS, long range, and Honda’s brand trust could make it a compelling option for luxury EV buyers in India.
Conclusion
The unveiling of the Honda 0 Series SUV and sedan marks the beginning of Honda’s bold electric future. With a thin battery platform, advanced OS, and Level 3 ADAS, these EVs aim to blend technology, practicality, and performance. For India, the Honda 0 Series SUV arriving in 2026 will signal the brand’s serious intent in the premium EV space.
